Happy Halloween to our fellow pet lovers! Our number one goal at Hidden Pet Fence is to keep pets safe. Please review the reminders below to help ensure your furry family members well being this fun and spooky holiday:
Keep Candy Out of Reach: Make sure all candy, especially chocolate and sugar-free treats containing xylitol, is inaccessible to pets, as these can be harmful.
Costume Safety: If you decide to dress up your pet, ensure the costume fits well and allows for easy movement and breathing. Steer clear of costumes with small parts that could be swallowed.
Create a Safe Space: With trick-or-treaters at the door, it’s best to keep pets in a secure area to prevent escapes. A quiet environment can help ease their anxiety.
Stay Visible: If your pet will be outdoors, consider using reflective gear or glow-in-the-dark accessories to keep them visible.
Avoid Hazardous Decorations: Keep decorations that might pose a risk—such as fake spider webs or small items—out of reach to prevent chewing or swallowing.
